Bi-Weekly Update 10/23/2024
Dear Fairbanks Families,
On Monday, October 28 and Thursday, November 14 I will be hosting two information sessions about the facility projects that are scheduled on campus over the next two years. These sessions will include an overview of the projects including how we got here, planned projects, financing, and dialogue with attendees.
Construction, in particular renovations, is a complex process. It involves many moving parts and coordination. My hope is that you will join us for one of the two face-to-face meetings, stay up to date on progress through regular updates as well as the Master Facility Plan page on our website, and provide feedback throughout the process. While construction can be messy both literally and figuratively, the work we will accomplish together over the next two years will continue to build our shared future together.
For Fairbanks,
Adham

Seeking Math & Science Volunteers
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help our high school students excel in math and science! If you have a passion for these subjects and enjoy working with young people, we invite you to join us in making a positive impact.
Your support can help students gain confidence and improve their skills. Whether you can commit to a few hours a week or a couple of times a month, every bit helps!
If youāre interested or have questions, please email jerryobney@fairbankspanthers.org. We appreciate your willingness to invest in our studentsā futures!
Staying Connected
We have several methods of communication with our parents and community. Alerts via email, text and phone are for urgent notifications such as school closures. The For Fairbanks Blog and Bi-Weekly updates from the district office are great resources for general district information. Building announcements keep you informed about your studentās specific school and activities. To highlight student accomplishments and share community information, we have a digital newsletter (Panther Pulse), and mailers that are sent twice a year which include the Fall Newsletter and Measurements That Matter.
To connect face to face, join Superintendent Adham Schirg each month for a Community Coffee Chat. Alternating between the Richwood Coffee in Marysville and Plain City, this is a great way to share feedback and ask questions. You can find the schedule and additional information on our Community Connect Page.
* If you are not receiving any of these communications, please contact our district office at 937-349-9000 ext. 1200 or email quinnseaborn@fairbankspanthers.org .
