Throughout the year, we may have openings for Classified positions. These are positions that do not require a teaching license. All school staff are required to pass an FBI and BCI background check. 

Fairbanks Local School District is seeking applications for a Panther Paws Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year. The program coordinator will develop, coordinate and implement the after school program for students and will be responsible for meeting all requirements imposed by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Fairbanks Local School District is seeking applications for a Full-Time Cook in the High School Cafeteria for the 2025-2026 school year. This FT position works 5.5 hours/ day. Applicants must pass an FBI/BCI background check and be ServSafe Certified.

Fairbanks Local School District has an opening for a full-time (4-5 hours per day) bus driver for the 2024-2025 school year. No experience is necessary, as the transportation department offers training. Applicants need to have a current FBI/BCI background check.

• Bus Drivers (No experience is necessary, as the transportation department offers training.)

• Custodians

• Educational Aides

• School Nurses

Substitutes are required to pass FBI and BCI background checks. Educational Aides must hold a current Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education. Bus Drivers must hold proper license and training is available. Substitutes are contacted on an as needed basis to cover for our classified employees.
