Dear Fairbanks Families and Staff,
At last night’s regular Board of Education meeting, the board passed two resolutions. The first was to approve a master facility plan for Fairbanks Local Schools and the second was to enroll in the Ohio Facility Construction Commission’s Expedited Local Partnership Program.
Fairbanks Local Schools’ Master Facility plan will focus on Option Fairbanks. This plan will consist of 31,000 square feet of additions to the middle and high school, a complete renovation of the existing structure, a 7,000 square foot addition to the elementary school, and infrastructure work around campus to address traffic safety. This plan addresses several needs in the short and intermediate term, while laying a foundation for long-term facilities in Fairbanks.
